| These folders contain the uninstall information for the update you install. That means that you will be unable to uninstall the updates if you delete these folders. You may leave them there unless you need hard drive space. If your system is stable, and if you no longer plan to uninstall an update, then go ahead and remove the corresponding $NtUninstall..... folders. Or you may move those folders to a different hard drive, or burn them to CD before deleting them from the hard drive. | i got a prob, my remote assistant doesnt work. when someone request me , he or she got auto decline from me. when i request someone it shows i need a latest version of windows messanger but i've already installed latest windows live massenger 8.5 beta. who can solve my prob? i need ur help friends..... To GuRo, If you want to make your windows folder even smaller, and you use NTFS, you can use NTFS compression to make the windows folder smaller. Although you can compress everything it, compressing EXEs and DLL files will make you system a little bit slower, so I recommend compressing everything BUT EXE and DLL files. u told me this one.. but my qs is ..how can i choose exe and dll not to compress...? caz i clked on my comp right button>properties> disk cln up but should i clk "compress drive to save disk space" | |||||||||||||||||||
