has anyone installed Windows Vista beta 2?

i just wanna check wht ur experiances are..

i installed it.. it took umm nearly 10GB space (default installation on a blank 80GB HDD).. when installing it didnt ask me if i want to customize it or not.. i will format the drive and install vista again to check it..

on idle it used about 800MB RAM ( from 2048MB DDR2 533 ram) .. default installation.. no other softwares were installed.

the cpu was never idle, the CPU usage was always more than 20% (always is the problem)

there is no WinFS support and MS said there wont be any

it used to "Windows is the easiest to learn and use" it will be "Vista is confusing"

the Aero interface is slow (almost copied MAC's dynamic effects, introduced widgets)

as it is a preview release so i am accepting the flaws into it but the amount of flaws it has i dont think MS can fix them before the deadline unless they change the date again.

i installed vista beta 2 in my laptop and more or less it is very useable and stable. though my grahpics card is not aero capable. but the basic vista interface without aero is not that bad. what i feel using vista beta 2 that user have to learn how to do everything again as everything has tobe done in new way in vista.
even the trditional cascading start menu is gone.
i installed it in separate 15 gig extended partition and 7 gigs was used for default installation.
during installation it surely asked where i want to install it and gave me the option to customize it.
regarding cpu usage,at begining vista may indexing some file so that moderate cpu and harddisk acitivity was
there even it was left idle.
