im not sure about money wise...

but first of all i think bangladeshis should be educated about their country like other nationalities r about their own, who can spread the beauty of bangladesh amongst their frreind, work colleagues etc..

as i ave been born n brought up in uk.. i ave always found amongst other bengauli freinds dat dey r very negative about bangladesh.. so that firstly needs to be changed...

den international travel programmes can ave a whole programme dedicated to bangladesh, where they show the beauty as well as its culture.. makin out its a hot n sunny n freindly country shoul defo sell it to tourists..

FOOD is a major.. if bangladeshi food is more emphasised rather then being sold as indian food den dat too will make others acknoledge abt da country.. n make dem more intersted to abt da country n hopefully make dem visit the country..

i dnt knw hw da service is for tourists.. but i do feel to attract tourists.. tourists must feel safe wen dey enter the country.. dat can a b bit difficult since bd is always in da news for its riots n floods..
but instead dey can be educated dat da best season will be winter.. where is still quite warm for many pple...

attract them wid major shopping places (which we do ave).. da beach must be made into the bing thing.. more water sports activities...

wow promoting the country will take a very long time as big investments r needed...
major cities needs to be improved especially travelling.. roads needs to be done so it doesnt feel like a roalacoster ride..

alot to be done...

the question is is the government ready to finace such a big project?

Neither I can talk much money wise. But just 2 cents,
Well, at first we should pick up which area needs to be promoted most. Shall we make any old place better or shall we pick a raw place and let ppls know about its beauty.

Three things needed to promote tourism :

1. Beach
2. Nightlife
3. Security

In Bangladesh:

1. We have the longest natural beach in the world which through proper maintainance can be turned into a great tourist spot
2. Nightlife - we have none.
3. Security - quite evident

Yeah To promote Tourism, we need to stop bugging at other's activities/life. Thats something we do a LOT.

And yeah, there is a Rain forest at Srimongol, Sylhet. We really should do something about this place. It neat and Clean. Its gorgeous (naturally). If we can promote this place AND Bangali stop dropping all their garbage on the forest (while ppls will visit this place more), it can be a great Tourism spot Us.

My cousin met wit foreigners too there. But we have no idea about it
