absolutely fascinating..one of my greatest desires is to see the northern lights in person..i'd give anything to get to see them

i dunno if those r graphic works or not (though i doubt it), the auroras so exist..
here's another one..photo of the month for june '06..so i'm pretty sure its real


and i looked up the places from where u might be able to see the northern lights:

Northern parts of the Nordic countries, including all of Greenland and Svalbard.
Northern parts of Alaska, USA.
Northern and middle parts of Canada.
Northern parts of Russia.
sooo anyone up for visiting alaska wid me??

I get to see this outside my window at early evening/night during the autumn season. This is closest to a heavenly experience i have ever had in my life. It's absolutely breathtaking.
