Sevilla sporting director Ramon Rodriguez Verdejo insists he has heard nothing from Chelsea about a potential swoop for highly-rated full-back Daniel Alves.
Alves has been the source of much transfer speculation with Primera Liga rivals Barcelona and English champions Chelsea both being linked to the 23-year-old.
However, Verdejo, is adamant that neither club have approached Sevilla, while he also revealed they had reached an agreement with Alves about a new contact.
Regarding Chelsea, Verdejo said: "I have not received any offer nor any call from (Roman) Abramovich, from (Jose) Mourinho, or anybody from the English team."
And of Barcelona's supposed interest, Monchi added on Radio Marca: "There has been no contact with Barcelona, either now or in the summer."
Liverpool were also keen in taking Alves to England during the close season, but Monchi is adamant the attacking full-back, whose current contract runs out in 2011, is committed to remaining in Seville.
"In fact we will make his contract renewal public in the next few hours, since we
have reached an agreement," Monchi said.
