I have heard that Warid Telecom of Dubai is coming to Bangladesh finally on the 26th March. It is a very prominetn company which has most of its shares owned by Pakistan. Hoe\wver talking about mobile network service providers, as far as i know Warid Telecom is going to smack all the other operators in bangladesh right after it arrives in Bangladesh.
It will start off with a package of 1500 taka, consisting of 3 mobile phones with attached sim cards. i am sorry to announce that its going to be like the CDMA phones, just like Citycell.
Anyway let's hope for the best that soon they will release only Sim cards, like the Citycell Rims.
About call charges, i am happy to share this news that any call made from a Warid number to another Warid number will be completely free. and for calling to the other operators, customers will be charged only at a rate of 50 paisa per minute.
People might have wondering how on earth could that be the case. However the fact is, any company, specially an international one is supposed to make a 95% of profit within their first 6 months.
