thing saves energy though il prolly stick to the regular google cos the black is too dull for my eyes and makes it difficult to read stuff

Blackle is criticized on the basis that the energy saved by using it instead of Google is insignificant. Shutting down the computer for 15 minutes a day, or putting it in sleep mode saves more energy.
The technique only works on CRT, LED (including OLED) and plasma monitors. LCD monitors and DLP projectors will show no improvement.
