He might have good intentions coming into politics.. So lets not judge and see..

Malaysia's last President Dr. Mahati ( not sure about his names spellin ) ... is a Doctor ... If HE can b a President nd Made some Rapid change in dat Whole Country ... Why not Yunus Sir ?!?! Look wut Mahati did ... He changed dat Developin Country to a Developed Country ... And I guess both of diz Great Human have somethin in Common ... So I guess and also Hope dat Yunus will do somethin really for us ...

I still remember the day when i got the news of yunus's noble prize winning nd how happy nd proud i was...but then on my last visit to bd, got to hear many stories bout this man...nd based on that, sorry to say this, i don't think it will be ANY GOOD FOR OUR HOMELAND if yunus is involved in politics (which has been his intention nd he'll get all the support frm the foreign countries by whom we r being robbed day by day)...

Before I get to my opinion, I want to ask you were you following the interviews or reading the newspaper articles after the announcement was made that Dr. Yunus was awarded Nobel Peace Prize?

The reason behind asking that is if you had, you would have had noticed every single sentence he said (now don't go back on counting it, but I hope you got my point), it was nothing about personal achievement or anything, it was all about the country and the word Bangladesh or Bangladeshis was never missing and it was all about his plans and concerns for the country. He is patriotic, possibly one of the very last high profile ones.

Another thing I am not really sure how joining politics make Dr. Yunus bad. Honestly I don't think he is power hungry or something like. If he were, he would have taken the position of the Chief Adviser for the present Caretaker Government. He was offered the position numerous times and he rejected every single time. And it is said he recommended the present CA. Educated, patriotic and people with the urge to serve the nation can do great things and the present situation is a big proof of that. Dr. Yunus joining politics would possibly be a blessing for the nation and its people.

And From very first day ( When Dr. Yunus declared his will 2 join here ) every Politician is "Cursing" him for his decision ... Not for diz is bad for our Country ...
