1. Bangladesh Independence: We all believe Bangladesh independence is the greatest gift to the people but I don’t believe it was for us or the country the leaders fought for… but to RULE (exclude the freedom fighters).
2. Razakars: Some people will call me a RAZAKAR! but I don’t have any problems! I don’t hate razakars but the wrong doers. I am from Sylhet and many talk about independence but if ever there was a war for independent Sylhet I’ll be with the government because I love my Country as a whole not broken in pieces. In this condition if Sylhet was to be an independent country then I’ll be called a Razakar.
3. Shiekh Mujib: I have many reasons to believe that sheikh Mujib only done what he did for power not the peoples. I also can’t call him the father of nation or compare him with Mahatma Gandhi. Why?
A: Bkshal rule- the one party state ("Ek Neta Ek desh Sheikh Mujib Bangladesh")
B: I think it is sad that just for Mujib and his descendants' advantage that many, many other people who did just as much work-if not more have their hard work systematically erased from history by Mujib and his followers; some of them were even murdered.
C: Shiekh Mujib’s sons were known to be in organised crime and the most gruesome activities.
D: All credit is given to sheikh Mujib but it is true that he was in jail throughout the time of the liberation war, and he did not know that Bangladesh had been created for sometime afterwards as he was stuck in jail. I don’t want to discredit him but…???
4.
A.Shiekh Kamal: There was a tip-off to the Police saying Sheikh Kamal was going to rob a bank; this uncle gave the permission for the police to intercept, as the police 'check-points' verified that it was Shiekh Kamal and his gang travelling toward the Motijeel Commercial Area that night.... the true picture was frightening; they were going to rob a bank- not any bank, but the Bank of Bangladesh. (Sheikh Kamal, eldest son of the Prime minister attempted to rob a bank)
B. Shiekh Kamal violated Major Dalim’s Wife and what did sheikh Mujib do? (Even after getting evidence about the wrong doings of his family members he did not take any action)
5. Major Dalim: What did he do wrong? I would do the same if anyone harassed my wife and got no justice. He also gifted us with a democratic country… If today Bangladesh has corruption then it’s not his fault.
6. The Indian Army: After the surrender of the Pakistan army, the Indian forces stayed back in Bangladesh at the request of Bangladesh government. Indian army took away, all surrendered arms, ammunitions, equipments and vehicles worth millions of dollars. They even dismantled the industries and sent them to India. They even removed all furniture’s, fittings from the cantonments they had occupied. The newspaper Anik estimated the value of the things taken away by the Indian army to be 1000 million US dollars that was published in their issue of December 1974. (Mr. Kamal Siddiqui, a freedom fighter who was appointed as Deputy Commissioner at Khulna just after the liberation wrote a formal note to both the Bangladesh and India governments stating that Indian army was removing machineries, vehicles, equipments worth millions from his district. He at his own initiative tried to resist the Indian army as much as he could in collaboration with the freedom fighters.)
I will post about other peoples in few days after further investigation. Anyone is free to exchange your views or debate and if anyone has any further information then please do forward me with the details because I really need it to wake some people up… I know I’m expecting lot of critics and asking for trouble… long as I can open people’s eyes I don’t care about consequences. Don’t get me wrong… I don’t support any political groups in Bangladesh… I’m member of the human rights group and not allowed to support any political figure/party.
