bangladesh is behind cuz of people like us. who are creating and supporting corrupted politics. BAngladesh spending money behind a dead body that's been in peace but not spending money for victims of cyclone sidr. bangladesh is behind, cuz whatever they create they love to sale them fo money. even outside bd founder of youtube, arcenic problem solver, and many more to be sold there talent. lack of education is a major factor for bangladesh. not only education system but education need for every step government take in bangladesh and so evry residence. we are the follower of other countries.

Snipes aside, the real reason that Bangladesh lags is due to the fact that her people don't view the country as their own piece of land, rather a place with resources that await to be exploited. This is apparent at marketplaces where shopkeepers take all the trouble to keep their stores and wares clean whilst dumping waste in the public thoroughfare right before them.

I didn’t know that India is so powerful.

I may be wrong. With no offence to anyone, BD if behind, that is for those peoples who gave preference to the religion over nation.

If Bangladesh was following Islam then Jamat would be in power.. Beside that, when was any political figure following Islam..! Bangladesh is one of the most non religious country in South East Asia.. get your facts right..!

Bangladesh, the republic, isn't following Islam (not on paper at least). Her people are.

Problems are too many but not Islam, blaming any religion is just an excuse of our inability and ignorance! Did Islam say eat everything you have today and don’t care about tomorrow? Misconception about Islam is very common but here we don’t expect such debates. I hope people pointing fingers at Islam for our failures do have a valid point?
