its not a sin.. but its da intention.. we beileve dat prayin dis one night we will be forgiven for our punishments.. dats were da prob starts.. we give dis nite da most importance.. we think we become close to da almighty... dats where da prob is.. prayin all nite n den fasting da day after will not really be rewarded as we may think we will be.. we should focus on da nites where we will be rewarded.. like in ramadan .. (especially da last ten days)

au ryt....da point is.... i can see dat we auso foget da main point ob discussion isn't it.

its 'bout >>> Tomra jara bd te thake tomrao ki tai koro??
ar jara bd r baire thake tara shab e baraat er din e ki kore?

secondly, i've no idea 'bout da 2nd para. n if u don mind...can i ask u (all ob us) a question...im just curious... not aaguing.... u sed "wot does Allah or His"( )...... can we use dis kinda pronoun insted ob ALLAH..... i'll tell u wot i believe...n dat's "NO n NEVER".

finally, if some1 do dat.....we sud tell dem wot dey sud do if we can see dat...but be4 dat we've got 2 do da FARZ things wot's been given by our Almighty ALLAH. after den if dat "some1" don do so..we sud let dem do dat, moreover we can pray 4 dem n wait untill day've been blessed... cant we. we can, i guess.

i've no idea if dis nyt's got ne special meaning...yea but dere's a realization wot we can see. lemme tell dis " we've been orderd 2 pray SALAT, keep SAOUM (fasting*), do HAZZ, give ZAQAT " n auso advise 2 do GOOD (as been told directly/indirectly by ALLAH).......bla....bla... n Saab-e-Borat hasn got any offence if we don pick.

dis post's not completely completed.

Thanx all.

ALLAH Hafez.

Reev, Rio and Rayan,

If it is about halua roti then have/share it everyday, why on this day? Why wait for Shobe Barat? That’s the problem. First Hadith of Bukhari sharif explains that every deed/sin and everything depends on your intention and here the intention is this night and not poor people so it really is not a ritual, is it?
It is not a sin to pray but use Allah and his prophets name and make this day a special day, is not right and that’s the problem. We teach our children’s and younger people without knowledge and say it is from Allah and his prophet, how right is this?
I am not saying anything to you guys but the Imams of our country. If it is true and this night is as they say then why not prove it with hadith, and such specail night not mentioned in any of the shahi hadith or Quran is just my most major concern!

This blessed night of Laylat-ul-Barat has so many virtues.
The Holy Prophet (sws) had said that during the nights of the 15th Shabaan, the Almighty takes decisions in the matters of sustenance, life, death and the welfare of the people.

Next to the “Night of Qadr”, the 15th Shabaan is the most auspicious night (also known as the “Night of Baraat”). According to the Holy Imam Muhammad bin Ali al-Baqir (a.s) and Jafar bin Muhammad as-Sadiq (a.s), the Almighty Allah (swt) has promised to fulfil every legitimate desire put forward to Him in that night.

Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) states:

“One night I awoke to find that Rasoolullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam was not by my side. I got very worried, so I got up and noticed that he was in prostration and he stayed there for a very long time. When he got up he said Oh Aisha, do you know what night this is? I replied “Allah and his Rasool know best what night it is.” Rasoolullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam then stated “This is Laylat-ul-Barat, this is the fifteenth of Sha’baan, a very great night. In this night you should be attentive in the worship of Allah, for this is the night of accounting. Whichever child is to be born during the coming year is written down on the list on this night, and the name of whoever is going to pass away in the coming year is deleted from the list.”

Aamal For The 15th Of Shaaban

1) At the time of sunset - GHUSL (Prescribed Bath)

2) Spend the night in Namaaz, Duaa and Astagfaar.
3) Recite Ziyarat of Imam Husain (AS)
4) Looking at the sky recite " ASSALAMO ALAYKA YA A'BAA ABDILLAHEY, AS SALAMO ALAYKA WAREHMATULLAHEY WA BARAKATOHU.
5) Recite Dua E Kumail
6) Recite "SUBHANALLAHEY WAL HAMDO LILLAHEY WA LA ELAAH ILLAL'LAHO WALLAHO AKBAR" 100 Times
7) After Namaaz E Isha, offer 2 rakaat namaaz as follows : 1st Rakaat, recite Sura-e-Kulya'ayyohal Kaferoon after Sure Al-Hamd. 2nd Rakaat, recite Sure Kulhowallaho Ahad after Sure Al-Hamd and after the namaaz recite Tasbeeh e Zehra (34: Allah o Akbar, 33: Alhumdolillah 33: SubhanAllah)
8) Prostrate and recite : 20 times : Ya Rabee, 7 Times : La Hawla Wa La Quwwata Illa Billah, 10 Times Ma Sha Allah, 10 Times: La Quwwata Illa Billah.
9) Namaz E Shab (Highly Recommended) This is the night of glory. The more you pray the better it is, Seek Allah's mercy for yourself and all the momeneen, Staying awake all night and spending that time in Ibadaat (prayers), Fasting on the 15th of Shabaan is highly recommended.
================================================== ====
However, I remember watching a video of Sheikh Tahir ul Qadri based on Shab e baraat and he said…

The month of Shabaan is a spiritually superior month. Seyedena Ali (RA) has reported that the Holy Prophet (saw) said: ‘When the fifteenth night of Shabaan comes, perform nafl prayers and fast that day, for as soon as the sun sets that evening Allah's illumination and Mercy descend on to the skies and He says, "Is there any ser
