Bangla forum poem competition 3!!!

Before we start this competition, I will like to do a survey and also ask every member to suggest, so we can make this competition enjoyable and also successful.

Unlike all other competition, this one will be different and also the winner will be awarded with an official Bangla forum title, thanks to the Eros bai and all Bangla forum staff for this.

The difference with this competition will be, every participant will have to write a new poem, based on the category and in total will have to write four poems in any language.

I have added a poll and also ask all members please make your suggestions or say anything that might be helpful. All suggestion and comments will be appreciated.

Please ask all questions, or make suggestions here and leave the poem competition thread only for poems.

As some people have many friends and many new comers, I was thinking about judges instead of polls, please do comment and share your views. Anyone supporting judges can also help recommending some names.

This is a cool idea.. i like polls.. yet agree with you about newbies and friends voting for friends and not the best.. I hardly know anyone to recommend to be a judge so please excuse me from that.

Few Suggestions:

1- Create a team, and all the writers will pass their poems to them. team leader will post the poems in bangla fonts (since this is a bangla poetry contest all poems should posted in bangla. because bangla poems in english font is really hard to read) in the forum.

2- All the participating members name will be disclosed. that way we will have a fair pool in the competition.

3- give the members dead line to post poems and its better if we can provide a theme or subject to write the poem. that way it will be easier to find the best piece. on the other hand if we leave the topic open then we might see some creative themes.

if you want to chose judges then I think its better if you chose atleast 2 judges. Judges will not know the name of the participants either. they will give points to the writer after the poll close. points will be distributed upon-

* Relevance to the Theme
* Word Selection
* Structure

5 points on each section total 15 points. this selection may be added or deducted on opinions.

right now as a judge i can suggest Core

in the previous competition, some member brought their friends to vote for them and own. eibaar o ki beshi friend walla keu jitbe ?

I like your idea but this is not a Bangla contest but in all language, as many poets can't write in Bangla and poetry is expression and should not be limited to any one language. Eg. Alice is a member and also a good poet to. Winner will be awarded by Banglaforum officials and it will be unfair to leave some members out.

This is exactly what the categories are for, and i will appreciate you and all members suggesting some themes

If we choose judges we will choose more then two and it will be members and Banglaforum staff.
