While I've been loving you,
So much is new,
To me,
The things I see,
And do,
The things that are real,
In here,
My heart,
Are far apart,
From my old normality.
Normality.
There's a word,
I've never before used to relate
To myself,
Maybe that's one of the ways you've helped me to change.
Normal is a goal,
Strange oddities the 'norm',
Normal?
I only wish I knew,
As these feelings new,
Confuse me deeply,
As I lose myself in loving you.
