We can actually post this Thread in almost every help site. or any help Thread.

Most of the computer users come and complains about lots and lots of problems. What they dont realize is that the solution may be infront of their eyes. Most of us dont bother to read and if we know someone who is good at something, we tend to ask the person, well its a good habit to ask people that you dont know but its better if you try yourself first. How? Read the Manual, Try Help files, try Reading README, INSTALL or files under docs/ folder. try logging error messages. Run in debug modes. For a newbie its hard but once you try by urself, its always easier.

So next time you go and ask a friend to Help, try to fix it yourself. Read the Manual.

and Please Learn the Basics before jumping to more Advanced stuffs. There are some topics which are same in both Linux or Windows. so learn them. they are the key.

For Linux Based Help First go to:

http://www.linux-newbie.org --Speaks for itself really
http://www.linuxheadquarters.com --Some very good everday use tutorials.

Yeah.. JUBAiR bhai is true.. I would say 98% of the people don't read the READMe.txt or the instructions then they would be posting msgs in forums asking for help.
