lets start with animation movies: to be honest i am not a great fan of animated movies and i dont keep myself updated a lot on animated movies ( now yea i know ppl love them ) but this one moive i loved it. CARS. Another Pixar movie and a great one too following other Pixar productions such as Toy story series, Finding Nemo, Incredibles. I personally think this is possibily the best annimated movie of the year. A lot of you might argue Ice Age 2 is better, I would say ice age2 was good but cars was better. watch both the movies if you want to and let me know which 1 you think is better.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest : a long awaited movie and like every1 else I too was looking forward to this movie. I wouldn't say its bad but my expectation was higher and def the first one is a lot better than its sequel.
Superman Returns: i was kind of upset with the fact that when the movie was released i was in dhaka and could not catch the first show. But honestly i am now happy that i missed the first show. Superman returns superman returns .. yayyyy... but guess what not up to ur expectation!!!!!!! to me the movie was below par
The Illusionist: I watched the movie coz Jessica Biel is in the movie, but the movie turned out pretty good. i liked it though the twist seemed like kinda hazy at first. But the movie was good.
Click: some of the scenes were just hillarious.. adam sandler was good in the movie but not one of his best work over all the movie was pretty funny
The Departed: Another great Scorsese movie though the plot is adopted from a hong kong based movie Mou gaan dou ( Internal Affairs english title). But Scorsese credited the original version. Anyways getting back to the movie... great cast starring matt damon jack nicholson and leonardo dicaprio and yea martin sheen too. dicaprio was amazing as usual (lately he is turning out to be one of my favourites) and so were matt damon in his studly role and jack nicholson. I personally think this is the best movie of the year.
Casino Royale: Bond, James Bond... a new bond movie with a new bond Daniel Craig ... he was better than i thought he would be. well after watching him in Layer Cake i did not think he would be as bad as the critics made me sound like but he definitely exceded my expecation. now this movie is not a typical bond movie will all the gadets and stuff but if you are interested how the character started and why bond doesnot trust females you probably would want to watch this movie. Casino Royale is the first of the bond series and the movie turned out to be pretty funny as well ( i laughed the most watchin this one than any other bond movie). for guys one more reason to watch the movie Eva Green is HOTTTTTTTTT. one of the goofs of the movie .. bond doesnt care if his drink is to be shaken or stirred!!!!! over all pretty good movie .. i liked it better than the last 2 bond movies
Borat: ONE OF THE MOST HILLARIOUS MOVIES EVER. PERIOD.
Inside Man: Denzel Washington movie after about a year and half. Great cast starring Clive Owen and Jodie Foster. Pretty good movie with touches of Spike Lee stereotypes.
Deja Vu : another Denzel Washington movie.. all i can say about the movie Disappointing and kinda tooo unrealistic.
now i am really tired and its past my bed time ... need to sleep for an early class which i am pretty sure i am skipping :P .. anyways i know i havent really mentioned a lot of movies.. just did the ones those were on top of my head... feel free to add to the list
