Some movies that I recommend. Reev this list is for you!!!!!!

Genre: action, crime, mystery, thriller :

THE USUAL SUSPECT : one of my favourite of all time ... movie that made me fall in love with kevin spacey

se7en - another great movie

LA confidential - great cast great movie

Traffic - not as good as the previous ones but still pretty damn good

Blow - based on a true story of a drug dealer... bonus ( for guys) penelope cruz is in this movie

The Boondock Saints : a lot of people don't like this movie but i liked it

The Bourne Series (Identity and Supremacy) : I am a big time Matt Damon fan may be i am biased about his movies but these two movie are good no doubt about htat.

Pupl Fiction : One hell of a movie

Reservoir Dogs : its a great one tooo

Once upon a time in mexico : sequeal of Desparado .. a decent one

Assault on Precint 13 - ok- ish type movie

Lock, Stock and two smoking barrels: pretty good

Snatch : this is one movie people i did not understand completely whats going on but apparently one great movie.

Scarface : I bet most of you watched this 1 and if you havent u better .... Alpachino's one of the best works ever.... fyi : too violent a movie

Sin City - i guess a common movie most of you watched it

Ronin: decent

Man on fire


War movie:

Saving Private Ryan : one hell of a movie
Schindlers List : a great one as well

both the movies are very disturbing especiially about the war scenes think twice before you decide to watch them.

Drama/History based:

Munich : overall great movie but i love the ending
Catch me if you can: i guess one of the very few Leonardo DiCaprio movies i liked
Good Will Hunting : my favourite
American Beauty - supposedly the work of Kevin Spacey !!!
The Insider - great cast great movie
Shawshank Redemption: watch it u will find out how great this movie is
Taxi Driver - pretty old but prety good though a lot of people hate the movie
Million Dollar Baby: sports baesd drama
Remember the titans : this is a true story and i even if you don't understand american football this movie is worth watching more than every penny you spent on it!!!!! MUST WATCH

Comedy:

Happy Gilmore: Hillarious .. personally i think best movie by Adam Sandler so far
Anger Management : Pretty Goof
What about BOB? : You like Bill Murray ??? watch this movie u will crack up
Napolean Dynamite : this movie is just simply hillarious
Wedding Crashers : u will love this movie ( for guys i had another post on th 50 rules of crashing wedding .. u never know mite come in handy )
Old School
Road Trip
Zoolander ( may be not the funniest but quite good)
Starsky and Hutch
Anchorman


well these are some on top of my head .. ia m too tired to typing .. may be if i can get my lazy butt to work on it again i will post some additional ones.. hope this list helps

if you have watched nepolean dynamite you should watch nacho libre too..same production ..but much more hilarious...and what about bob..watch clerks and clerks2..damn good...

The usual suspect is by far the best movie by kelvin spacey..i recomened that too...


what about hannibal sequels in your thriller movie list..good sequel..

i have to watch resevoir dogs and the boondock saints..
i heard a lot abt this two movie..

I purposely did not mention God Father series coz its pretty obvious people watched that series .. in case you havent please please please watch God Father and God Father 2 ( 3 is ok but nothing compared to the first 2)

Similarly Oceans 11 and 12 are very common.
A few good men - I hate tom cruise but i watched this movie several times just coz of Jack Nicholson
the negotiator - another pretty good movie by Kevin Spacey and Samuel L Jackson


comedy :

american pie series including american wedding i assume most ppl who watch movie watched those ...
some other ones
Billy Madison
Harold and Kumar go to white castle - this movie is toooo funny cant't wait till its sequeal comes out next year
National Lampoon's Animal House: If you are US college student this is a must watch
Van Wilder - the indian dude from Harold and Kumar ( Kal Penn) is in this movie plus Tara Reid
Meet the Fockers - This 1 seemed to be a lot more funny than meet the parents
The replacements - okish type Keanu Reeves movie

probably a lot of you find jim carrey great but i happened to be not one of his fans and i guess so far i watche 3 or 4 of his movies so can't really recommend something i haven't watched.

chick flicks:

girl next door ( i love elisha cuthbert)
mean girls - yesss guys i had to watch that movie

schindler's list is not a war movie ..its a drama. and also add fight club and Sin City to ur list

50 First Date - I can tell from some other thread you guys love this movie.
Before Sunset - I watched this and its pretty good ... this is a sequeal of Before Sunrise which i haven't watched but I heard its pretty good.
the terminal - Tom hanks and Zeta Zones - enough reasons to watch this movie
City of angels

probably you have watched Sleepless in Seattle and You have got mail, according to a lot of people the two great romantic movies ever by Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan.

well i am not really into romance so cutting the list short here

comedy:

thank you for smoking: too much sarcasm but once you get the movie you will laugh all day
Click - its funny esp the duck and the dog scenes its just hillarious
Big Daddy - you guys must have assumed by now that i am Adam Sandler fan!!!!

40 year old virgin - though expected more out of it but its ok....
ice age - the melt down .... simply hilarious

Drama:

Forrest Gump - man this movie is amazing!!!!!!

Philadelphia - Denzel washingtong and Tom Hanks - why shouldnt you watch it ??

Akeelah and the bee - i stayed up till 5 am though I had a class at 7 30 just to finish this movie.... i simply loved it

to be continued : i got a 5 day weekend and i will update the list after i watch tons of movie over my break.
