Happy new year and Eid mubarak to everyone.
Alright, the debate for December, despite a slow start, was a pleasant success. We came up with the idea late last month, and accordingly the members only had 15 days to participate. Thankfully, we will have one full month for January.
The topic for January is:
Should there be further restrictions on the advertising, selling, and smoking of tobacco? Should tobacco/smoking be banned?
I'm sure most are already familiar with the pattern and protocol by now. Please don't forget to put [For] or [Against] before you post.

| You can’t have debates about such matter more like asking peoples opinion if I’m not wrong? Cigarettes should be banned is my opinion and if your asking me to debate about this then I take my words back | |||||||||||||||||||||

For:---> yes must be because its not only harmful for that person who smoke its also harmful for passive smokers and also for the air.If they advertising it then ppl more become addictive and i think mostly the under age get victim of it.And by stooping the selling the chain smokers can forbid their habit and no one can get addict by it again. | Should tobacco/smoking be banned? [against] I don't see what good banning tobacco/smoking will do. First off, there are way too many people addicted to it. Those people, if forced to, will certainly resort to obtaining tobacco via any [illegal] means necessary. I also don't think that the government is likely to put a ban on tobacco, because of its reluctance to lose such a rich tax source. | [For] Advertising of Tobacco sud banned ... only bcuz of which pplz r not addicted yet ... Even dey r gettin caught by Smokin of diz Advertising ... Nd Awaring pplz about bad effects of Smoking sud held everywhere ... [Against] Well ... selling and smoking Tobacco must not be banned bcuz of its harmful for pplz or Environment ...
