What I wanted to say is dat it may vary from person to person ...
like i have a friend who is a boy and we have been frndz for almost 16 years and thhat thing we are concerned here abt never has come between us. But in many cases that opposite happened.
But to me its not always the end of the frndship but also some times the beginning of a true feelings of love.Being frnds cannot be disqualification for 2 lovers.And if i ever love someone .he must be my true frnd at first.....

Yes becoz there can be some situation where a person of opposite gender becomes very close to you , u shares a lot of things with him/her not even being in love with him/her.
