it will be a lie if i say, i have done this before, but this is really an interesting topic.. it is certainly possible, i have seen the new routers with printer server, those comes with usb ports, but then again those are for printers.. but i have searched in Google.. and found some links...

i was reading some of them but lost interest, i like the old fashioned ethernet and a router..

Yes Ethernet is much faster, unless you are able to do it with USB 2.0 interface.
