well linux e anti-virus lage na ke bollo .. it has few viruses yes.. but it can be used by others as a storage for viruses... now there are several level of protection in linux.. there are client level scanners like bitdefender or there is system level daemon like clamv .. clamv can and will scan if configured, the mails and attachment, incoming and outgoing, files in httpd folders, users dirs, can be intigrated with other daemon (in unix/linux daemon means services) ..

in windows i used to use McAfee, then i started using AVG free, now i use AVG Network edition, i like the simplicity of this program.. its fast, light, the scan engine is good, yeah may be not as good as f-secure or kaspersky but its pretty good.. i hate Norton, it slows down my pc, which is not easy btw..

but everyone has their choices and reasons..
