I Need help

I need help. i like to upgrade RAM. i have 4 slot for RAM and its RD RAM. its bus speed 800

1. Can i use 128 .128 . 64.64 in 4 slot.
2. And can i use there DDR ram except RD ram cose its become rear now.

Main i want to know that can i use 4 different capabilities RAM in 4 slot or i have to use same capabilities RAM like 64.64.64.64 in 4 slot.

my system configuration is :-

Pentium 4(R) 1.5 GHz
256 mb RAM
128 mb AGP
40 GB Hard Drive

First of all Lemme say that U just CANT use DDR RAM ...

And yeah as far as i know ( im using) u can use different RAM lyk 128 and 64.

Sell this one and buy a new Mother board
with the DDR option

Hi Rio, just like reev said..don't recmd DDR..

Yea ofcourse you can use different size RAM in different slot.

Q: Do I need to upgrade the memory modules in my PC systems in pairs?

A: Yes ,For instance, to add 512MByte of memory into a l system, two matched 256MByte modules should be inserted.

For dual-channel RDRAM chipsets and motherboards, memory module upgrades should be in matched pairs.

For best performance, it is recommended that the largest modules be placed in the first pair of slots nearest the memory controller - i.e. if you have a pair of 512MB modules and a pair of 128MB modules, it's best to put the 512MB modules in the first slot.

That means u need to use ram pairs not a single ram.
