| for dialup connection, i dont have that much idea. used long time ago, but as i heard AGNI or BOL in good. both got night package between 10pm to 10am. If he got a GPRS enabled mobile phone, then i'd say GPRS net connection will be best for him. its very popular in bd right now. grameen, aktel & other mobile cariars provides pre & post paid service. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

Dey get 5 KBPS DL speed nd it will cost 300 taka for 100 hours ... though o-net have some more offers too ... | RanksITT is cheap, one of their offers : 110 hours for 300tk thing is the connection is really unreliable, but if ur broke like me u gotta make do with wht u got :P Banglanet offers 100 hrs for 300 tk and thts a little more reliable and a little bit faster too at times but be warned connections **** and will be the cause of countless hours of tearing out one's hair, but it cheap  | |||||||||||||||||||||

samsung sgh x200 is gprs enabled but it dont have EDGE so maximum speed would be 48 kbps, gprs internet is way better than dialup to use in bangladesh now, Grameen phone has a pacakage for unlimited use for 1000 taka, aktel banglalink and teletalk offers it for 800 taka, and anyone can use pay as u use that will cost .02 taka per kilobye. though setting up mobile as modem in computer is bit triky, first u have to connect the sgh x200 to the pc using usb cable or by infrared, infrared sensor is available in dhaka for only 350 taka . than install the phone as modem and u have 2 create a dial up account and have to dial *99***1#, no username or password needed tne personally used GP, AKTEL and Teletalk grps internet and GP is way ahead in speed than others as it is a EDGE network. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
