gr8 idea Eros mamu...my suggestion (since u've asked) is only members with 500+ posts r allowed to open thread in that specific section...that way it's limited to only active members...

if a general member is to gain control over opening/closing the thread, does that mean he/she has to get her topic passed by the admins/mods?

I think it'll be a very interesting thread. And thank god..............u r taking from 100 posts. Seems a long way to go for me ! And so, I'm safe............But I would like to interview others. Is there any rules for questions ........???

Rono, topic name could be, my interview, ask me, ask rono, what ever name you choose. you'll just open a topic in that particular section, like you do in other section. control over open/close YOUR OWN TOPIC ONLY, not others. why ? for example say, your going out of town or for your exam, you wont be able to come here, or for any reason. you just put a notice that you wont be here for the next X days & close the thread. when you back you re-open your thread & ask ppls to ask you qestion. You can EDIT your posts in every topic now. does that making any conflict with mods/admins ?

Ok ppls, its done. a new section created called 'Members Interview' on About Members area. If you open your interview thread you'll get 100000 points. if you ask questions, you'll get 50 points! You need to post 100 posts before you can create your interview thread or ask questions. i think 100 posts if fair enough to get the attention of others, so they'll want to know you. so go & give the interview
