With all due respect to Eros and any one else involved with the name change, here's my honest opinion abt the new name: if i was visiting this forum for the first time, then prolly would've thought it's a cool name...at the same time, would've thought this forum/online community DOES NOT have much to do with Bangla and Bangali...google or any other search engine will bring up loads of online communities like this, and i don't think any of existing members or sum1 searching for a new one will have the patience to go through at least few of the forums to decide which one to join...what i mean is first impression makes a whole lot of difference...i came across BF when i was checking for a bangali forum using google...BF was the very first one and i swear i didn't bother to even click on the second one on the list...sum of my other friends have asked me to join diff forum on different occassions, but i thought if i can spare any time to post in any forum, then it should be just in BF...it's true it's all of u who made BF watever it is (well, WAS), but if i didn't get attracted to the name first, i wouldn't have joined...there was some thing in that name that sent out the vibe that i can relate to this (BF)...the new name does not have that capability, unfortunately...may be i m just being irrational but this is how i felt abt this whole thing...YET AGAIN, i m glad that we still have the community (or should we use the word "network" from now on
