In bd (n a lot of other countries) ppl want to be "fair".. i've noticed that ppl seem to believe that a light-skinned girl is more beautiful than a dark-skinned girl
some ppl i've spoken with think that it's wrong that there's a "fair& lovely fairness cream" they think it's kinda discriminating yet they've never said a thing about solariums and self tanners.
BUT my question is...............have u ever used fair& lovely?

great thread !!!

yes, the very notion tht fair is 'beautiful' is shallow and indeed discriminatory

those who seek to whiten their skin tones are insecure of something as integral to their existence as their skin

i despise skin whitening products and have little reverence for ppl who adhere to the belief that a darker skin tone is inferior to a lighter one
