ARSENE WENGER fears the Ashley Cole controversy is in danger of getting so out of hand someone could be killed.
The Arsenal boss cited the death of a Paris Saint Germain fan during crowd violence in their UEFA Cup defeat by Hapoel Tel Aviv a fortnight ago as a warning to what could happen.
Wenger is deeply concerned about the hate-filled clash with Chelsea and yesterday it emerged that the police have launched a poster campaign to appeal for calm as Cole faces his former club for the first time. Police have threatened to eject any of the 3,100 Arsenal fans from Stamford Bridge if they make homophobic taunts and even wave fake £20 notes with Cole's face on them which have been specially printed.
