The history of naming the storms/hurricanes/cycllones began porobably during 18th century. they were initially named after saints.

The history of naming the storms/hurricanes/cyclones began probably during 18th century. They were initially named after saints.

It changed in early 19th century. Navy personnel and meteorologists started naming hurricanes after their Gf/wives. [God knows why]. Now a days storms are named with the first names of both females and males. They are picked randomly and alphabetically. Some alphabets are dropped out such as Q,X etc which are hardly used in names.

So you are about 40 or so years late posting that pool. Now a days hurricanes have both male and female names.

Oh in btw, I like the idea of being unpredictable. No wonder guys spend their entire life trying to unveil the mystery of women.

How can i delete my reply before some one bashes me up for trying to be "pondit" [which I'm not...]
