And who don't share this ideology? Being one in the community maybe you don't see the attitude of one sylheti to someone who is a non sylheti, but being outside of it....I do see it with open eyes the discrimination. And yes, when I say this....I talk from experience.

Aren't they my brothers? Did you lose your eye? Where did brotherhood go when people are not taken into jobs because they speak in Bengali and not in the sylheti.

Where did brotherhood go when sylheti people insult and speak out in their own words bad stuffs about a non-sylheti in parties and cultural shows, in their own little little groupings. Even they form a new mosque just because they could not get along with all the others(more like the opposite way around) and they want to have their own mosque.

Judge my thread from it? Masoom, you are sticking to the fact that I opened this thread to invite people to bullshit about Sylheti people and to lower them down while I stated clearly my intention was to talk about this issue and see every one's view. Now if you wanna keep on going with this same offtopic then I have nothing more to say to you.

I wouldn’t pick any bad peoples or area to prove my countrymen as bad people. You already made the decision that Sylhet should be separated? This really show’s how much at least you love you country!

If someone is advertising a job only for Sylheti speaking then it could been for 2 reasons.

• Business requirement. Customer’s to be able to communicate easily

• They don’t want to offer that job to anyone but bring someone from Bangladesh and the requirement of work permit is to first advertise locally, then Europe and only after that internationally you can bring someone to fulfil your requirements. Did you consider this reason before getting offended? Have you ever checked the stats of how many Bangladeshi people from different district are employed by Sylhetis and yes of course employment stats would show more Sylheti working then other district when 8/10 Bangladeshi at least here in the UK are Sylhetis.

If I really wanted to do that, I could have come in and posted a note like the one some other member did and call the sylheti's this and that BS.
