Ronoh, I understand your question but then how can you ask that question. Did Sylheti people declare or come to parliament or anything that confirms that they really are looking forward to declare independence apart from few individual doing wrong things? I hope you do understand that all people you are referring to are small group and when you mention Sylhet, you refer to all the people living in that City.

If someone is not attending the same mosque and that for silly reasons (based on your explanations), then they are not even obeying Allah’s command for who they built another mosque, let alone thinking about Sylhet and Sylheti people.

You mention many district speak different dialect and they are not asking for independent state but before you say this you must prove officially, that Sylheti people do want an independent state? I also did not find very logical that we fought the war together and because of that Sylheti shouldn’t ask for an independent state, if this logic was to be considered as a genuine political reason then today India, Pakistan and Bangladesh should be one and not three countries. We want Bangladeshi people to live as one because we are one and that with no reason, no condition and no differences regardless of acceptable cultural differences.

How can anyone without a reason open a thread and rest start writing against a community without strong reasons? Even if few Sylhetis do talk between themselves this does not reflect the view of Sylheti people.

Masoom, no offence mate, but you do write on stuffs without looking and make it look as if the other person is doing absolutely wrong things. Before you post things like that read the first post and see Why I opened the thread stating what comments.

Its not a hard talk thread yet, cause we are talking about the fact that some people do want it that way and the talks are whirling in the air. My thought was simple, I heard it and thought why not see what people say about it. Or is my english so hard to understand?
