Who said bangali girls wear western dress more?
I will suggest him to look around a bit.
If u look around u will see, in the big cities like chittagong and dhaka;
just about 5% girls wear western dresses and in small towns this percentage will go down to 1%.
and villages?
so so small that u can say it 0% easily.
only and only a very very small portion of girls wear those dresses u mentioned.
the upperclass peoples. And u know how small there number is.

But the most surprizing thing i saw about this is, Still about 20-30% girls use hijab or borka in the big cities. definetly this number is much much bigger in villages.
Another thing surprizes me is, two three years back, girls wearing borka were very rear. But now its quit frequent. So it seems this number is actually increasing, just not in ctg but i saw in dhk also.

so people still love traditional dresses and they wear it in day to day life not "just for show" as u said.
maybe few post modern peoples. but the mass still bearing the tradition and culture with them.

sari , sari ,sari. they looks so preety i cant tell. meyeder sari porle jossssss lage. age meder ato baire jaite hoto na,kaj korte hoito na tai saree porto .but now the goes outside frequently so its easy to wear salower kamiz or jeans. it is for the situation. but they r fond of sari u can ask them. but teenage meyera saree pora vule gechee not good. if u dream of agirl she must wear saree

true for the city girls. i have seen lot of teenage girls wearing saree in the villages.
dont take it negetive my friend. The scenario is not so bad that girls forgot wearing saree.
