Sure thing what Dr. Yunus bought for us is something we should be proud of.. And congrats to him and all bengaly folks around the world.. I am glad.. that we got the nobel price. Dr. unis is the founder of Grameen bank.. and i surely belive that they took a very good step to help the farmers and other poor people.. But whats the point of taking a step where that farmer had to loose everything cause he couldnt pay them back.. Sure thing they helped them But I have private experience but they did not have any ideal.. Saw many Poor farmers and other lose their last place to live and breath cause they took money from the bank and couldnt pay em back... such a pathetic Blood <censored><censored><censored><censored>ers.. Anyways screw it all.. Thebottom line is however he made us proud.. we can say to the world that we are bengaly proudly ... God bless him!

People there actually some how fought for peace.. the actual word "PEACE".
Uncles major has been economics throughout, he came up with an economic structure that helps people. His field has never been social relations or any humane subject. It is his heart that is humane and helped others... He should have been awarded on his subject, as he used that to help others. It been more honour for him to get in economics. Though there is no less to get peace prize either, but it's not his field.

Besides a person is not dumb to share their opinion, anyway I think I have the right to call my own country men stupid...
Sorry Shakia, no offence but i disagree anyone has the right to call anyone stupid because they come from that country!!!

Proud of Dr. Yunus and the entire grameen bank

I think both You and Mr. Gondar here is overracting a bit... Let me rephrase the whole meaning: I find the Swedish Nobel Committeé to be UNWISE, UNSMART, UNINTELLIGENT not to give Dr. Yunus nobel price in economics, which is his field from the start...
I feel as a SWEDISH myself, ashamed that in the end Norway had to give him the award, instead of my country men..

Besides Rabindranath Tagore was Bengali not Bangladeshi as he was born in Jorashonk in Kolkata. But then he had a estate in Shelidah, Kushtia. Where his wife and mother were Bangladeshis.
