Car Accidents

Accident is a very terrible thing. Many of us have had this experience. Accident-e amra onek shomoy onek kichu harai. Sometimes amader shokh-er gaari damaged hoy, sometimes manush injured hoy and kokhono kokhono manush mara-o jai.

I had a terrible accident only once in my life. That was a bike accident. I never had any car accident though i've been driving car since i was 14. Till now i am very lucky and also very careful. Dhaka-te majhe majhe ricksha-r shathe choto khato guta khawaitam gari-te. Ekbaar ekta black taxi amar gari-ke mere diyechilo. Taxi driver-ke dhore pore 2-ta thappor aar 20 baar kaan dhore utha bosha koranor pore chere diyechilam. Sydney-te ekhon porjonto masha allah kono guta khawai nai. But one of my cousins damaged the front side of my car by hitting a parked truck on the street when he was learning to drive. amar gari-r kono insurance kora chilo na tokhon. kono mote palai bacchi oibaar.

nways.... i know many ppl here have had many kinds of accidents in their life. Ofcourse i am talikng about car/bike/bus/truck accident. Lets share those experiences here. And wish everyone a safe driving....

Ummm... ektai mone ache.....

ami class2/3 te chilam.... Bramnbaria te chilam coz my father is a Goverment Officer.... anyway....Honda te koreh bashai jetam astam.... toh ekdin Honda te kroe School theke bashai jacchi.... Honda drive korchilo amader Darwan.... uni speed-e chilo... samne onno ekta chipa road theke ekta Rickshaw aschilo... toh ekta jaigai gya Rickshaw r Honda te jotils dhakka laglo... amer PA pore gelo Honda r Rickshaw`r niche.... Mone korechilam amer obostha sob che kharap hobe.... but i was wrong... it was our Honda driver..... koikdin uni hattei pareni... coz pa marattok injure hoyeachilo... ful-e gyachilo

I think i`ve some more experience... i`ll post it later

And many Thanks to our OZ bro for his wonderful thread... its really a nice "Place" or u can say "Thread" to remember some old memories.... LOL

Okay ... Lemme Speak Up then ... At dat day ... I was crossin a Road ... ( Poribagh ) ... dat one is alwayz busy ... While crossin I was talkin wit someone by ma cell fon ... ( dont do this while u r crossin ) ... i just gave a idol look on da road nd saw dat a bus is comin ... i didnt even bother 2 stop ... started 2 cross da road while i was in da middle of da road i figured out dat ... there is another bus just beside dat 1st one nd both of diz 2 buses r very much close 2 me ... I was thinkin dat i sud jump of run or somethin ... but i wasnt able 2 do so ... u know, was a bit shocked ... i was just standin there nd starin at da bus which was close enuff ... may b 10 feet ... at dat Tym dat great Driver ( My Life Saver :P ) pull up da break nd ended up hittin be slowly on ma left hand ... Rather then dyin it just caused me a Tiny Lil Scratch ...

ur lucky to be alive REEV; bangladesh is notorious for hit and runs, having observed one first hand myself..

i have been fortunate enough to never have been involved in an accident of the serious nature; i once got my leg cut up as i walked to my home and a rickshaw wheel scraped a little bit of skin off my calf; it was nothing serious and ive had worse

Lol Tanna. Indeed Im lucky enuff to be alive.
That cud have been the last day of My Lyf.
But I don think all the accidents here is the fault of Drivers only.

i had an accident once.. in bd.. i was 11.. me n ma 2 fufus were sitting on da rikshaw.. n den it started to rain really hard..so da rickshaw man started to ride faster.. we told him to slow down.. especially wen he was turning into another road.. we told him few times but he still didnt listen.. n guess wat happened .. we turned into a road.. a car in front was parked but da man inside opened da door wid out makin ne checks to see if nething was behind him.. n bang.. i didnt knw wat happened all i knw i was on da floor n just managed to save ma face frm ne injury.. den dis guy was helpin me to get up.. i was checking to see if ma fufus were ok n alhamdullilah dey were also fine.. we were not badly injured just some scratches.. but it was da shock da got us.. i turned around n saw da rickshaw was broken into many pieces..

we all shld be gr8ful dat we survived n shld cherish life as it cld end ne day...

That wasnt really a fault of that Rickshaw puller. The Careless Car Driver is the villein.
