As part of BanglaForum's commitment to provide the users with the most comprehensive forum experience, we are proud to inaugurate a subforum dedicated to the upcoming 2007 Parliament Election of Bangladesh. As a country wretched with poverty, illiteracy, natural calamities and a wild range of hardships, each national election bears a monumental significance in formulating the state's course in a period spanning up to 5 years. We at BanglaForum recognize the gravity of such event and are hereby offering our users a unique and exclusive section to discuss issues relevant to the election of 2007.


That being said, we would like to emphasize that we are in no way affiliated with any political party nor do our users' views represent, in any way, that of our administration. Consider our meek effort a mere facilitator of political discourse, not an agendum. In accorance with this, we expect our users to follow the following rules pertaining to this subforum and shall not hesitate to enforce them to the fullest extent should we encounter a violation:

• This is a forum, not a campaign board. Please limit your posts to opinions and discussions only.

• NO ADVERTIZING whatsoever. Such offenses shall not be tolerated. We welcome opinionated or passionate views so long as they do not breach the thin line of advertizement.

• Be respectful of others' opinions. No matter how badly you disagree with a fellow user's views, please acknowledge their entitlement to it and do not insult them for it.

• No verbal abuse, assault or threatening will be tolerated. If you have a problem with a certain user or his/her posts, you can report them to the administration, but do not take the liberty to curse them out on that account.

• We encourage the use of pictures, diagrams, graphs and other descriptive means to support your points. We urge the users to make use of BanglaForum's unique upload within feature. Alternatively, you can choose to upload your material to free sites such as imageshack.us, hidebehind.com etc.

Please remember that these rules are not mere suggestions. We realize that political debates or discussions can take violent turns and these rules will be strictly enforced to avoid any untoward incidents. Also, we respect the users' rights to their views and therefore shall not hesitate to defend them from those that are intolerant of it.
