1) Aftab Ahmed - Undoubtedly the most promising player in the current team. Has a great fluency in the way he plays. A potential match winner, and great finisher.

2) Mashrafee Mortaza - The best strike bowler to play for bangladesh. Has a great heart as well as desire for the game. Unfortunately this has also been his downfall as injuries have recently proven.

3) Mohammmed Rafique - Cricket enthusiasts will tell you that he is probably the best left arm spinner in the current era (at least it is a toss up between him and vettori). The highest ranked bangladesh bowler in the rankings proves his importance for the team. A definate match winner

4) Habibul Bashar - Has been my personal No.1 since his debut in international cricket. A very aussie like batting approach, and by no means is he shy of taking the attack to the opposition. Has been the most consistent batsmen for Bangladesh, but his desire to pull and hook every ball has been his downfall. Nevertheless, an asset to Bangladesh cricket.

5) Khaled Mashud - By far the best wicketkeeper in the country. Batting wise, a rock. I have lost count of the number of times he has had to grind runs out for Bangladesh.

You may have realised that I don't have Mohammed Ashraful in that list. I can't disagree that he is probably the most talented batsmen ever to play for bangladesh. However, his inconsistency over the last few years means he will not reach my top 5. His temperment does not do justice to the talent he posses. An average of mid 20's is just not good enough.
