we always will have arguments on who is right or wrong.. but wht i think is this.. cricket is a game and peoples are related to it.. they only know whats going on in the field.. when there is a situation on the field.. and peoples doesnt know what happend.. more problems are arised..

cricket has been my favourite game for a long time now.. but the only thing i never liked is the power of an Umpire.. heck u cant even question about his decessions, on or off the field... thts bullshit.. all ICC can give is, Umpires are Human, they can make mistakes.. Hey.. players are human too.. and they are the ones who are playing.. they get frustrated.. when u complain about an Umpire thru the management.. some ICC panel looks into the matter and give their decession.. now Umpires are ICC Officials... i have never seen an Umpire was banned/penalized for being a cocky sob. the whole thing is very secrative to me.. noone knows wht goes on there..

all i want from this situation is some clear actions.. these days they use 8-12 cameras.. it is very possible to check if pakistan really tampered the ball, which i believe they did... or not.. if they did not do that, the umpires should be banned from game for their life.. even if pakistan didnt do anything Inzi should be banned for atleast 2 games for not coming on to the field. even pakistan did the tampering.. Hair should receive some ban for denying to continue with the game.. but whatever the findings are, I, as a spectator.. wanna know.. i wanna read the details.. i wanna see if any pictures available.. i want to see an ICC who has to explain their actions to everyone..

heh, even the mighty FIFA, published their findings about Zidane and Materazzi.

and for ur invo severus.. for Muttiah Muralitharan the rule was not changed.. ICC clearly stated that, they changed the rule to have less confusion among the Umpires.. while Muttiah Muralitharan was playing and this is long before the rule was changed.. he was cleared by an institute at Perth, and ICC approved it.. even after that Darrell Hair called No balls to Muttiah Muralitharan after that he never came to Australia to play until 2005 to play for the rest of the world team, keep your facts right..

read the facts right .. in this story pakistan did not come to the field but they did not also express anything that they do not want to continue the match, they came later on, but Darrell Hair refused to umpire the match. and i think it does not satisfy the LAW 21.3 , the team never said, they dont wanna play. they were upset and they took some time. I am not trying to make Pakistan look good or anything.. i dont even like the Country.. they should not have done that, they should have used proper channel to express their anger.. should have lodged an complain...

The controversy began at 2.30pm local (1330GMT) when veteran Australian official Hair, standing with West Indian umpire Billy Doctrove, signalled to the scorers that five penalty runs were to be added to England's total, taking it up to 235.

Then, after an early tea had been taken because of bad light, the umpires walked back out onto the field at 4.40pm local time (1540GMT) only for no Pakistan fieldsmen to follow behind them before walking back in. Some 15 minutes later the umpires returned followed by England batsmen Paul Collingwood and Ian Bell only for the Pakistan team to remain in their dressing room.

The batsmen and umpires walked back in, with Pakistan - already a losing 2-0 down in the series - in danger of forfeiting the match. Both umpires removed the bails, returned to the pavilion and the covers came on.

Pakistan then appeared on the field, to boos from the crowd, at 5.25pm (1625GMT) but there were neither stumps in the pitch nor umpires. After several minutes without either Hair or Doctrove, or the England batsmen, Pakistan walked back off. The fresh delay was caused by Hair's refusal to continue.

Cricket's Law 21.3 states clearly states "that, in the opinion of the umpires, a team refuses to play, the umpires shall award the match to the other side." This was the first time such a five-run penalty for ball-tampering had been imposed in Test cricket, an International Cricket Council [ICC] spokesman said.

Pakistan coach Bob Woolmer told AFP: "The team is upset that they have been accused of tampering with the ball and therefore 'cheating'. "It is a no-win situation as now Darrell Hair has refused to umpire."
