| The Saw franchise is getting both raw meat and old hands as it reaches its third instalment.
Bahar Soomekh (seen in Mission: Impossible III) and Equilibrium’s Angus MacFadyen are both joining the Saw series for the first time.
And clearly up for a little more torture, blood and panic are Dina Meyer (who has survived both previous films), Shawnee Smith and Tobin Bell. There’s no word on the plot yet, but we’re pretty certain in assuming there will be yet more blood. Darren Lynn Bousman is returning to the director’s chair following Saw II, with Leigh Whannell writing.
They’ve started shooting last monday and plan to be finished by the end of the month for an autumn release.
I loved the first and second, and hopefully this one will be up to scratch too. |
