Does anyone here believe that the lungi is actually practical? I am not insisting that clothes HAVE to be functional. Indeed, many a feminine attire are utterly impractical and serve to hamper the wearer's everyday activities in many different ways. The reason I raise the question is because traditionally men toiled hard in the fields and it would make sense to have a design for daily clothing that served function rather than form.
