Default How do you say a 'NO' ?

Well, I have been thinking of opening this thread since when i was glancing over some psychology books in a small book fair. So the question here is very Simple

How do you say a NO?

Now lets make it complex

Well, we say NO very often. We say NO easily to say ferriwala, Hawkers. But here we are NOT talking about these simple NOs. We are talking about saying a NO (on somewhat serious issue) to our close/closest, dear/dearest ones .

So here are few questions.

1. Are you a Mr/Ms 'Yes Yes' Person (obidient, who always agrees) to your close ones? If your answer is NO then check the next questions.

2. Do you feel its more difficult to say NO to the closer ones than any third person?

3. Do you think twice or more when you say a NO to your closed ones? Or you say whatever you feel at first instant.

4. Do you phrase/rephrase differently, make the statement light/lighter soft/softer (than the actual hardness of the disagreement) when you say a NO to your close ones? If yes How you try to make softer.

5. Do you think what will be the reactions from the other end after you say a NO, and have a mental preparation to handle the reactions before you say the NO? Or
you try to explain whatever you feel and you dont feel any need to take any mental preparation to handle the future reactions, because you have the confidence to handle those reactions.

6. Are you afraid of saying a NO to a group of people?

7. What are the thoughts you make before saying a NO to a group of people.

More questions to be added depending on the responses. I am hoping this discussion will help us to make a better mass communation.
